Mr. Saumya Choraria is the Managing Director of Nirmal Hospitals, Surat, where he plays a key role in shaping the organisation’s strategic direction, growth and development. A graduate of SP Jain School of Global Management, with international academic exposure across Singapore, Dubai and Sydney, Saumya brings a global business perspective to healthcare management. Since joining the family-led healthcare organisation, he has been actively involved in strengthening hospital infrastructure, expanding clinical services, introducing technology-driven systems and creating patient-centric healthcare experiences. He has played an important leadership role in the development and commissioning of Nirmal Super Speciality Hospital, Adajan, a 120-bed multispeciality facility that has further expanded the group's healthcare presence in Surat. Beyond hospital operations, Saumya is passionate about preventive healthcare, fitness and community engagement. He is the driving force behind Nirmal 10K – Run for a Healthy Heart, an initiative encouraging people of all ages to embrace active and healthier lifestyles. His broader vision is to help make Surat the Fittest and Healthiest City of India by bringing together healthcare institutions, running communities, businesses and citizens in a collective movement towards better health.
