About
Dr. Jagruti Desai is a senior obstetrician and gynaecologist with more than four decades of experience in women’s healthcare. She cares for women through pregnancy and childbirth and treats a range of gynaecological concerns. Her clinical interests include infertility, laparoscopic surgery, menopause and preventive women’s health.
Professional Experience
- Dr. Desai has served as CEO and Managing Director of Udhna Hospital Pvt. Ltd. since 1985. Her professional leadership roles include President of the Surat Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society (2021–22), President of the Menopause Society Surat (2024–26) and President of UMA (2022–24).
- Her CV also lists FOGSI-recognised training in laparoscopy, ultrasound, colposcopy and preventive oncology. She has contributed to professional conferences, research studies and a chapter on anaesthesia and analgesia in operative obstetrics.
